Supreme is back with yet another forgotten Nike Shoe model. The Nike Air Bakin was a popular “high-performancd” basketball shoe, first released in 1997. The shoe is said to be designed by the legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield. With an unique lacing system that provided a snug fit and Nike’s Air technology, the shoes are very comfortable.
One of the most memorable moments in Nike Air Bakin history occurred in 1997 when NBA superstar Tim Hardaway of the Miami Heat wore a custom version of the shoe during the NBA playoffs. Hardaway’s Nike Air Bakin featured his own initials on the heel and quickly became a basketball fan favorite.

Today, 26 years later, Supreme released their own twist on the Air Bakin shoe in a full white and multi colorway. The shoes will be available on Thursday March 2nd on supreme.com for a retail of $168. Make sure to check out the full Supreme Week 2 droplist.
