Renowned streetwear designer VERDY has teamed up with Zack Bia’s independent record label, Field Trip Records, and Nike to create an eye-catching bomber jacket. Field Trip Records is the creative brainchild of Zack Bia, hosting a lineup of rising stars such as Yeat, SSGKobe, and others. VERDY and Zack Bia share a history of collaboration, most recently with VERDY designing the cover art for Bia’s first single, “Hardcore,” featuring Don Toliver.
“As a child, I dreamed of owning a record label and releasing music. The idea of collaborating with Nike seemed like a feat reserved for my idols. Verdy, one of my favorite people and creatives, has long been an inspiration to me and has brought his artistic touch to my music and projects. The fusion of Field Trip Records, Verdy, and Nike in this collaborative jacket is simply astounding and serves as a celebration of music and my forthcoming project, ‘Learn To Fly’.”
Both Bia and VERDY showcased the jacket on their respective Instagram accounts. Boasting a timeless bomber design, the jacket sports a sleek all-black exterior adorned with vibrant patches on the arms and chest, displaying original artwork by VERDY. The reverse side of the jacket is emblazoned with a large chenille patch that states, “Field Trip Records, Learn to Fly.” Nike’s iconic Swoosh logo weaves through the text and can also be found embroidered on the front of the jacket.
As of now, there is no confirmation whether the Field Trip Recordings x VERDY Nike “Learn To Fly” Bomber Jacket will be made available to the public or if it remains an exclusive piece for Zack Bia. However, you can get a glimpse of this unique collaboration in the images shared below.
